Bumble

A dating app that encourages women to wear the pants.

Society has these silly unwritten rules where women feel they like can’t propose to men (unless it’s a leap day), they generally avoid being the first to say the three important words in a relationship or even initiate a conversation when meeting a man in a bar. While this new app, called Bumble (created by former Tinder execs), can’t help with the first two customaries, it is hoping to put the ball in the female court by only allowing women to start the conversation when they find a match. The app encourages girls to #taketheleap and send a message to someone they’re attracted to (and vice versa) within 24 hours, before they disappear from their feed forever.
