Three English school children, Daanyaal Ali (14), Muaz Nawaz (13) and Chirag Shah (14), just came up with one of the smartest, simplest solutions for detecting sexually-transmitted diseases. Their S.T.EYE condoms, which just won a TeenTech Award in the Healthcare category, change colour when strains of bacteria found in chlamydia and syphilis are present, meaning people could skip certain invasive STI tests. We know what you’re thinking…why didn’t you think of that first? Ditto.
