Breathe responsibly in this alcohol mist bar
You don't drink cocktails here, you breathe them in.
Have you ever seen a person take a shot of liquor to the eye? It’s sincerely not a pretty sight. So we’re pretty much over the moon that people will no longer feel the need to do such painful things to their bodies in the name of instant intoxication. This month, a new (albeit temporary) bar in London, England will put people on a booze trip with a cloud of mist composed of spirits and mixer at a ratio of 1:3. People walk into Bompas & Parr’s Alcoholic Architecture and simply soak in the mist, which is created using powerful humidifiers that saturate the air so that a safe level of vapourized alcohol enters the person’s bloodstream through the lungs and eyes. We’re not quite sure what we’d do with ourselves in a bar that doesn’t require standing in a claustrophobic line for drinks. It almost seems more unnatural than breathing in alcohol.
