It’s not enough to sit in a chair and watch a show or film these days. There’s an insatiable appetite to taste and touch the moving pictures that consume our down time. Last week, we reported that the Edible Cinema was giving movie-goers treats so that they could experience what it’s like to take a tour of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. And now there’s a restaurant that 100% embraces the hit cult show Twin Peaks, right down to the dialogue, diner and deadly investigation in Laura Palmer’s murder (plus plenty of coffee, we assume).

The Owls Are Not What They Seem is a pop-up resto that runs until Oct. 17 in London, England, and was created by Lemonade and Laughing Gas and Blanch & Shock to be an immersive Twin Peaks drinking and dining experience. There’s a strict no-photography policy in place, but here are some images of the space and the creepy, campy characters you’re bound to meet as you participate in attempting to locate the killer of a girl that’s been haunting Special Agent Cooper and viewers for the past 25 years.
