Under great white northern lights
Feast goes to great lengths to show off Sylvania's lights.
To show just how much more crisp and clear Sylvania’s Silverstar zXe line of headlights are compared to other bulbs, agency Feast took a vehicle outfitted with them outside of Whitehorse, Yukon, to test against untouched snow on a late-night drive to see the other lights that shine brightest in Canada: the northern lights.

What’s more impressive about the spot is the lengths that Feast and production company Revolver Films went to in order to capture the perfect shots and keep the spot authentically Canadian. The spot features music composed by Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning, and specifically went to a place where people tend to not go in order to get the cleanest, whitest Canadian snow possible. The crew shooting the spot also planned for months in order to get the best possible shot of the northern lights seen at the end of the spot. But a solar storm meant the lights would be brighter and more vivid than usual, meaning the team had to act fast in order to capture them. The whole process was captured in the “making of” video below.
