It takes this Stim writer approximately two cups of coffee to stay energized each day. Admittedly, that’s a lot, but imagine how zombie-esque I must be like before the caffeine kicks in? So when this new toothpaste fell into my (virtual) lap, I became pretty fixated on wanting one. The Power Energy Toothpaste is supposedly the world’s first caffeinated toothpaste. The technology startup believes that toothpaste should do more than clean and care for teeth. The millennial entrepreneur and owner of the company, Dan Meropol, sort of sees it as a two-birds-with-one-stone type of product. He created the paste so that more people would find another reason to brush their teeth more often (apparently half of Americans brush their teeth only once a day). To those who think a can of Coke each morning will keep the heavy eyelids away, it certainly won’t do the same for the dentist, so maybe this is a better alternative.
