This photog took portraits of couples in 1982, 1988, 1997 and 2014.
No one likes the idea of aging, nevermind having to see images of their physical change presented sequentially. But there are a few brave couples who did it anyway, allowing Barbara Davatz to take nearly the exact same portrait of them in the years 1982, 1988, 1997 and 2014. That’s 30 years of physical change documented and then published in a book, titled “As Time Goes,” out this month, with the final image of many of the subjects showing more than just age, but also separation and death as some stand with new partners, or on their own (click each image to view larger versions).
