Toronto-based Bensimon Byrne created this poster, part of a series that plays on the Jewish heritage of Toronto’s Caplansky’s Delicatessen. Using an aesthetic inspired by traditional Jewish wedding contracts, the poster indicates that the deli has beef with Jesus’ ability to cure, implying that despite JC’s track record with lepers, Caplansky’s is the highest authority when it comes to curing salami. We’re sure that eating at Caplansky’s would amount to no less than a religious experience.
