Singapore-based Creativeans offers solutions for modern eating.
Six o’clock dinner with the nuclear family isn’t what it used to be. More people are single longer, for starters, and when those families are formed, getting everyone around the table with both partners working isn’t easy to schedule.
In the last century, the design answer was the folding TV dinner tray table. Singapore-based Creativeans and guest designer Andrew Loh are exploring new solutions with a project called The Missing Dining Table. Ever struggled to eat while wrestling with that paperback, trying to keep it open? No more! Some of these could also make cocktail-party eating a lot more graceful.
