Calling Canadian toughness
Columbia is seeking gear testers in the Great White North, bringing its #TestedTough campaign across the border.

If you have a knack for tweeting while spelunking, or Instagramming from a ski lift, you may want to make your way to the Niagara Escarpment next month. Columbia has expanded its Directors of Toughness program to Canada and is seeking two new recruits to test its gear and tell the world about it.
Applicants will want to bring their hiking boots and energy gel, though, as this video from a West Coast interview shows what’s in store. They’ll also need to preserve their wits, as a wise-cracking dude in a bandana could be waiting at the end of the physical test.

The successful candidates will receive a proper salary and benefits for nine months of work, travelling the world, testing Columbia’s gear, and acting as brand ambassadors and social media gurus. The campaign is part of the brand’s #TestedTough positioning.
The Canadian interview will take place Oct. 17.
