Not only can sharing be caring, but it can also be winning. Leo Burnett, during the second slate of award winners announced, clinched Canada’s first Gold Lion at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, winning in the Outdoor category for its ‘Share our Billboard’ campaign for James Ready Beer. You can read all about the win on Media in Canada. What makes Leo’s accomplishment especially awesome is that Canada didn’t have any wins in the category in 2008. There are two things in this world that are especially sweet: cheap beer and a Gold Lion. Canada’s now got both.
