Social media’s now available on four wheels. BMW has introduced in-car Twitter functionality that is part of its BMW Connected app. Tweets are displayed newsfeed-style on BMW vehicles’ iDrive screen and drivers can even have tweets read to them aloud. To promote the new feature, Cundari took Twitter to the third dimension with a backlit billboard, situated at the BMW Toronto building, which features a flock of 12 three-foot-tall 3D Twitter birds perched upon it. Though the birds are quite large compared to many members of the avian family, BMW will, luckily, not have to worry much about significant bird poop maintenance.
