Tied together
SickKids's shoestring lifeline.

For some, there’s life before they were sick, and then life after if they’re fortunate enough. Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, which strives to help sick kids become just kids, and agency JWT, demonstrate this rather simply with print and an animated TV spot, with a timeline of a child’s life before and after they went to hospital, illustrated by two strings tied together extra tight.

The soundtrack sounds like the opening theme to trailer park boys.
This ad isn’t effective, it doesn’t make me feel anything for the people we should be creating awareness for & the lack of emotion is jarring for a service like Sick Kids.
