From a garage to Cannes

One Twenty Three West takes the road less travelled.

It’s a tale right out of Breaking Bad (minus the violence, drugs and drama of course). Much like Walter White’s transition from small Winnebago to large industrial laundry facility, Vancouver’s One Twenty Three West took an equally unbeaten path, starting out in a garage and ending up in the back of a linen factory. And now, the agency is headed to France to discuss how it managed to go from carport to Cannes (having won a Bronze Lion for its website less than a year after opening up shop) and landing 11 clients, including big name brands 7-Eleven and Mercedes-Benz. To get people pumped for their talk, the agency made a trailer (above) with a few cameos from some neighbours. Admittedly, while their locational choices are kinda alike, we’re willing to bet that Mr. White’s neighbours wouldn’t have as many nice things to say about his business moving into town.
