“Thumb” drives as business cards
Justin Poulsen leaves a small piece of himself with clients.
Well, my business cards feel kind of inadequate now. Working with Rethink (on the second campaign in three weeks they’ve grossed us out on), photographer Justin Poulsen created a cast of his thumb, which was then used to make dozens of replicas that also contained his portfolio on a USB drive. Poulsen is known for building physical props to enhance his work, so giving this out while networking with potential clients is an appropriate way to, quite literally, “stick out like a sore thumb.”
