Montreal starts its birthday party early
The city's 375th anniversary campaign comes alive with four spots by Lg2.

As Canada prepares to celebrate its 150th birthday next year, Montreal – which is turning 375 – won’t be outdone.
The city is getting ahead of the competition with the launch of a new campaign from Lg2 that highlights the city’s history and vivacity.
The campaign is a mix of TV, digital and OOH throughout the city, with four spots running throughout Quebec. The spots look back at Montreal’s defining moments, including the 1976 Olympics and John and Yoko’s bed-in for peace, mixed with current cosmopolitan scenes.
The goal is to establish an emotional link to all Quebecers and reconnect Montreal lovers with the city, Lg2’s VP and CD Marc Fortin told Infopresse.
