Disappearing act

Quebec's Magic Festival plays tricks.

In this promotion for Quebec City’s Magic Festival by Lg2, a wall of screens was mounted near a sidewalk filming folks as they pass by. But to highlight the upcoming disappearing act festival-goers can expect, two screens were rigged with pre-rolled footage of two actors, who later mirrored the footage in real life, so that when others passed by, they would see the actor’s reflection but not their own. We’d probably have a few moments where we’d wonder if we’re slowly turning into a vampire.
