Papier-mache Montreal
The Gazette's city-wide art project.
To launch its OffIslandGazette.com and relaunch its WestIslandGazette.com community news sites, The Montreal Gazette and Bleublancrouge wanted to prove that they have the city covered. So what better way to do that than to literally cover the city in good-ol’ papier-mache. The campaign took to the streets with some old papers and hodge podge, and invited folks to submit Instagram photos of various sculptures. This is definitely not your typical first grade art project.
