Now, there’s Countertop (by the Orange Chef), a similar but equally useful tool that makes cooking as easy as pie. What we love about this smart kitchen device is its ability to connect to your kitchen appliances, like the Vitamix blender (when the mixer is sitting on the Countertop, it gives a recommendation, like a smoothie or soup, that’s tailored specifically to a person’s needs) or the Crock-Pot slow cooker (which also provides personalized recipes based on your mood and preferences that day). It even syncs with fitness trackers like UP by Jawbone to track your workouts and sleep patterns so it can recommend the right snacks and meals for optimal nutrition. Of all the rooms in the house to get a brain, we’re sure glad it’s the kitchen.
