News at your fingertips (literally)

Sid Lee plays the finger puppet game with The Edmonton Journal.

Last week, The Edmonton Journal joined some of its other Postmedia-owned newspapers in rebranding and launching a new tablet app. To promote how easy the city’s news can now be accessed on any platform, the paper teamed with Sid Lee on a video showing fingers dressed as hockey players, police officers and writers (and which proceed to run into your screen head-on to scroll through the news). It would make us think twice about how quick it is to scroll through stories — if our fingers didn’t look so cheerful while doing it.
