Impressive feats of yoga strength
Sport Chek slows down, but keeps the intensity.
Sport Chek has been making a point of showing how it can help Canadians reach peak physical fitness as part of its “Your Better Starts Here” platform. But now, instead of seeing the pros sweating it out or running through overgrown terrain, a new spot by TBWA\Chiat\Day New York goes inside a yoga studio and shows one woman’s perseverance in achieving an impressive physical goal.

The nice thing about this spot is that in a sea of fitness and athletic ads built around dark, rapdily-cut shots of fast-moving athletes (which, admittedly, is a trend Sport Chek was a part of when they launched the platform last year), this one uses only a few, slow-burning shots where the subject barely moves, yet still manages to convey the same level of intensity and impressive physical strength.
