To promote it’s One Zone WiFi network, Cogeco Data Services got OgilvyOne in Toronto to develop a campaign depicting what we are dubbing Toronto 2.0. Various print ads feature Toronto landmarks which have been rechristened with web-related monickers, like ‘Nathan Flickr Square,’ and ‘Tweetcar.’ They also recruited a fleet of Eco Cabs to aid in the promotional effort, giving Torontonians free access to the driver-peddle-powered vehicles as well as the chance see a demonstration of One Zone WiFi access. Talk about bringing new meaning to the term ‘mobile internet!’ Har, har har.
