This spot, created by New York-based Mcgarrybowen, for Verizon Wireless starts off looking like a garden variety sci-fi, shoot ’em up videogame trailer, yet it’s no surprise when you find out that it’s promoting Motorola’s Droid smartphone. Obviously this group of visitors has been searching long and hard for the device, or at least that’s what the epic background music would lead you to believe. One thing’s for sure, it certainly provides an interesting commentary on the emerging relationship between people and gadgets, all robots in disguise and whatnot.
