The movie promoted in this trailer was never made. The young filmmaker who was going to make it was shot before before he could start shooting his film. The trailer is in fact an ad created by Leo Burnett to promote the City Life Film Project. It’s an endeavour started by commercial film director and Toronto Police officer Calum deHartog to provide inner city kids with the means to bring their stories to life through film by partnering them with industry pros.
