Have you ever watched the U.K.’s Grand National Chase, a horse race run over four miles on a course in Liverpool in which the steeds leap over 30 steeples? Well, let’s just say it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, especially if you don’t like to see horses and riders tumbling to the ground. But this ad to promote the event’s airing on Channel 4, prepared by in-house agency 4Creative, is rather exciting and part history lesson as well,  if it’s your thing and you want to get up to speed before the big event. It re-enacts the first recorded steeplechase, which took place in 1752 after a wager between two adversaries, then links it to a pair of modern-day jockeys. At least these horses don’t have to leap over fire.
