You know wearable tech has taken off when it’s being tested on Transatlantic flights. Following last year’s #lookup stunt, British Airways recently fitted passengers with headsets and blankets to track their mood, which was then displayed in the fibre optics woven into the blanket. For example, it flashes red when a person is stressed and blue when they are calm and relaxed. It all sounds fine, except it’d be a dead give away to the stranger sitting next to you about how they’re making you feel.
