A trip towards (awkward) love
Volkswagen makes its drive memorable and adorable.

Oh, young love. In a new video by DDB Canada, a dad picks up his daughter’s prom date in his Volkswagen Tiguan, and it’s about as awkward as you would expect from a couple of teenagers. Don’t worry though, dad’s got this. He uses the vehicle’s precision steering to nudge things along a little (but not too fast there, slugger).

The spot is part of the brand’s new “Unforgettable” creative platform that links the experience of driving a Volkswagen with some of life’s most memorable moments. Although some of them, like a painfully bad driving test, might not be as adorable.
