You’re too young to be a grandma

United Way doesn't want to live in a world with grandfolk in their 40s.

Knitting might be cool among the hipster millennial set, but for the most part, avoiding grandma-like activities before the age of 45 is still a noble goal. To remind parents that talking to their teens about sex is important – even if a little uncomfortable – the team at Serve Marketing created a campaign for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County that appeals to both our sense of humour and vanity. The idea was to put a fresh spin on the issue, which normally has campaigns focused on the consequences that teens face by not practising safe sex.

The campaign is part of “Let’s Talk Month” in November. So even if you’ve liked the early bird dinner special before Bingo since you were 20, it’s probably still a good idea to speak up.
