To pump up the hype surrounding Ubisoft’s upcoming Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction game, which hits stores April 13, Microsoft Canada and Ubisoft, working with Mosaic Experiential Marketing, provided some lucky contest winners from across Canada a once-in-a-lifetime experience to actually live the game. Gathered at Toronto’s Comicon, they embarked on an Amazing Race-type mission that saw them travel throughout the city to do things like pick up clues and stage a prison escape via helicopter. In this video, Ubisoft Toronto’s Employee #1 talks to the race winners about what it was like to visit game developer Ubisoft Montreal, and to play Splinter Cell Conviction before anyone else. One word can adequately describe this effort by Ubisoft: Awesome.
