To promote the November release of the game Assassin’s Creed II, Montreal-based Ubisoft Digital Arts crafted this awesome 15-minute video, which is the first in a three-episode series. Called Assassin’s Creed: Lineage, it employs the same methods used to make the movie 300, overlaying CGI onto live action. The series provides a back story to the game’s plotline, featuring events that happen before the story picks up. It’s the first time that Ubisoft has developed a project like this and we hope they keep them coming. We can’t emphasize enough the awesomeness here. Check out Media in Canada for more.
