Time for a change
The clock is ticking.

Old pals Kofi Annan and Bob Geldof earned themselves a standing ovation at Cannes today where they launched their ‘Tck tck tck – Time for Climate Justice’ campaign in support of the Copenhagen Climate Conference happening in December. The campaign for ACT Responsible, in partnership with Havas Worldwide and the Global Humanitarian Forum in Geneva, makes the link between climate change and poverty worldwide. The campaign site includes a human clock under construction – upload a clip of yourself saying ‘tck’ – and in September an MP3 of a cover of Midnight Oil’s ‘Beds are Burning’ by a gang of stars a la BandAid will be available. All well and good, but Kofi and Bob also put out a challenge to the creative community to take further action to turn the tides on this crisis.
