To expand upon its new ‘In an Absolut World’ brand platform in Canada, Absolut Vodka worked with media partner Carat Canada, digital agency Isobar, and Titan Outdoor to develop a series of giant, interactive Absolut bottle sculptures in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal until December 13th. In what first appears to be a booze-hound’s dream come true, pedestrians can interact with the sculptures by stepping onto web-enabled motion pads that stream a live video feed to Absolut.ca, allowing web users to simultaneously watch the street participants and affect their on-screen appearance. Unfortunately, there’s no drinking involved. The executions are a first for the vodka brand and coincide with the launch of a new global ad by TBWAChiatDay that you can check out here.
