This app was developed for German non-profit organization Frauennotruf Munchen e.V, which advocates against domestic violence, by agency brand.david. It uses augmented reality tech in tandem with a print ad to take a picture of a women and make it seem on the smart phone as though she is a vicitm of abuse. The goal of the effort is to shed light on the subject of domestic violence and reduce victim-hostile prejudices. It’s just too bad that the app can’t actually augment reality for victims of domestic abuse. Check out a video on the app here.
