Excuses, excuses

Snickers explains why it took so long to make a bite-sized bar.

Snickers and BBDO New York are apparently letting us in on the curious reasons why the candy bar-maker didn’t think of making a bite-sized version of the snack before. One employee thought of it back in the day, but technology failed him (Hey, how about writing down your idea instead of asking your assistant to remember it, fella?). Another group of creative-types struck upon it, but were just too darn lazy to get around to actually making it. Surely they’ve got better excuses than that? We think we smell a series.
