Snowball practice

Sweden's Fjallfil targets skiiers with extra time on the hill.

Time flies when you’re having fun, goes the saying. But what if time could be collected and rewarded for having fun? On a ski hill in Sweden, yogurt brand Fjällfil invited skiiers on gondalas to throw snowballs at a target on the ground below. Each time the ball hit a target, labelled one-second, two-second or three-second, a digital counter would increase the amount of time the ski hill would stay open past closing. Snowballers managed to clock up an additional hour. Though we can’t tell if the sneaky kids on the ground had everything to do with that (see 1:28 mark).
