Drone-vertising
Wokker takes its noodles to the skies.

This isn’t a joke. Honest. Drone-vertising, the act of using airborne drones to transport your ads above ground and around skyscrapers, is an actual thing, and it apparently did wonders for Asian restaurant chain Wokker in Russia. Creative agency Hungry Boys sent unmanned aerial vehicles, with a banner promoting the noodle company attached, up high where financial district workers in Moscow’s glass buildings could see it fly by while at their desks. The campaign successfully increased delivery in the area where the drones were used by 40%, according to PSFK. Perhaps they’re onto something (or at least until the novelty wears off and the industry starts to make parody films of the gimmicky technique).
