Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s get schwifty

Rick & Morty fans get a sneak-peek to satisfy their appetite.

As a great man recently pointed out, oooo-eeee, two years is a long time for fans of Rick & Morty to wait for the show to return for a third season. Thankfully, after doing a similar spot with Aqua Teen Hunger Force last year, Adult Swim has once again teamed up with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s for a piece of sponsored content that gives us a quick scene from the new season to hold us over.

Rick storms into a sleeping Morty’s room, eager to introduce him to giant, anthropomorphic versions of the restaurant’s line of Thickburgers. Whether Rick created them from scratch or imported them from another dimension is unclear, but the burgers proceed to make Morty’s life temporarily terrible, trashing his room, vomiting sauce and stealing his stuff.

The video, uploaded on Monday, is already nearing one million views, showing just how popular a short piece of sponsored content can be if it also gives fans something they desperately want. Wubba lubba dub-dub.
