Hershey’s finds happiness
How far would you go to spend time with your over-worked dad?
There’s been much ado about the “mindfulness movement” and switching off to get back to what’s important in life. Sometimes it’s the adults that remind their young ones to put down the game controller or iPad to play outside and make connections with their loved ones, and sometimes it’s the kids who need to remind their parents that work isn’t all that life is about, like in this new spot by Hershey’s.
We appreciate when brands help push along the idea of being more in the present, but what we appreciate more is when they’re able to craft warm narratives to illustrate their point. The below commercial does just that, keeping us on our seat as we’re awed by all of its components, from the music to the perfectly composed shots to the acting. The story is about a young girl named Scarlett and how she is desperate to spend some quality time with Dad, but knows if he had a choice, he would be doing just that. So she decides to take things into her own hands. Her solution is simply perfect.
