Here's what Happns when a dating app opens a pop-up.

Bricks and mortar is the new thing for various brands that were once online-only, so perhaps it was just a matter of time before online dating went omnichannel.

Dating site Happn has made the leap in Paris with the opening of a pop-up Happn Café on Nov 1. According to a press release, the café will offer entertainment, “nibbles,” brunch and, of course, a “second chance at a missed connection.” Hopefully there’s also free Wi-Fi.

French agency La Fine Equipe partnered with Happn for the pop-up, and Liquid Communications is working on PR. It’s all part of a larger pop-up event called Santa’s Workshop, featuring boutiques for various brands and a library with a number of magazines.
