Libre by Nexus shows immigration as a family issue

The organization is juxtaposing wholesome family images with bleak symbols of oppression and imprisonment.

There’s never been a more pressing time to talk about immigration.

A new print campaign by U.S. legal aid organization Libre by Nexus is juxtaposing wholesome family images with bleak symbols related to imprisonment — like a family portrait behind bars, or an orange baby onesie with the word “Inmate” on the front.

The message of the campaign is that when someone is detained by immigration officials, the entire family suffers.

The campaign is the work of Miami creative shop Pinta.
