Heineken #Serenade
The beer brand wants to sing you a love song.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Heineken and Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam are making it a little easier to ask out that special someone. A Facebook app called The Serenade allows users to send humorous personalized songs to potential partners. This Thursday, the brand will also host Serenade Live, an eight-hour YouTube event in which selected Heineken fans will have their songs written and performed live online, and be able to interact with the band via Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. This sounds a lot like W+K’s personalized Old Spice Guy vids, but we’re not complaining – we just want a song!
