Ballantine's puts a smartphone on your t-shirt.

We’re not sure what U.S.-based Ballantine’s – a scotch whisky – wanted when it commissioned the world first 100% cotton interactive t-shirt, but we’re digging the idea. This shirt is seriously tech-ified and could represent a new wave of product development and ad outlets. The shirt, designed by London U.K.-based CuteCircuit, has an LED screen on the front, camera and sound system built in, all connected to the internet and control by smartphone. And have we mentioned its 100% cotton? The promo video is hilarious, weaving a convoluted tale of two testers who take the shirt out for a night on the town. But while we love the idea, we’re not sure if we’ll sport the shirt any time soon. LED just doesn’t go with our skin tone.
