An unborn child asks for help in this poignant PSA from Care Norway.
We’re already predicting that this spot by Norwegian agency Schjaerven for non-profit Care will appear in most of the awards annuals under any and all of the “copywriting” categories. It’s four minutes of exquisite copy read by an unborn child in her mother’s womb and addressed to her father, who seems like a wonderful man, but has his flaws. The biggest fault being that he doesn’t necessarily stand up to the things that progress a culture of sexism. The baby girl talks about the things the men and boys say (and do) that many will simply laugh off, not really thinking much of it until something terrible happens as a result of the toxic attitude that is being fostered in society today. It’s, by far, one of the most poignant spots we’ve seen this year.
