Post-election blues
A Brooklyn design company has created a marker of Trump opposition, with a cause.

It’s been more than a week since Americans elected Donald Trump as their next president. While many are still struggling to let that reality sink in, let alone its implications, others have moved on to consider what they can do to oppose some of the president elect’s controversial policies.
On his show Last Week Tonight, comedian John Oliver urged viewers to donate to organizations that would need extra support standing up to the incoming Trump administration, including the Mexican-American Legal Defense Fund, the International Refugee Assistance Project, the Center for Reproductive Rights and the Natural Resources Defense Counsel.
Brooklyn design company Breakfast has come up with a similar approach with a product to signify peaceful resistance: a blue ring. The $20 item will raise money through an Indiegogo fundraising page for five non-profits: the American Civil Liberties Union, the Environmental Defense Fund, Everytown for Gun Safety, GLAAD and Planned Parenthood.
The goal is to raise $10,000. The rings will be ready for delivery in the new year.
