Wes Anderson brings colour to H&M

The director casts actor Adrien Brody in a distinctively quirky film for the brand's holiday campaign.

It’s those colours, the bright blue, olive green, carrot orange and raspberry pink hues that help us name the director (when, embarrassingly, the only other one we can name offhand is Spielberg) behind short films like the one below. Wes Anderson has a visual and narrative style like no other, which is probably why H&M chose him for its holiday campaign piece.

The brand and director recently decided to “Come Together” to create a colourful little number and wish the world a happy holiday, taking viewers through the scene on a train that’s delayed and unable to get its passengers to their Christmas destination on time. Adrien Brody takes the lead role in a familiar, true and distinctly cult way.
