Winner #2: Brian Kroeker of Espresso in Toronto turns Bigfoot into notebook.
Our second winner in the Joshua Davis notebook contest is Brian Kroeker, senior art director at Espresso in Toronto. He played the Canadian humour card to great effect with his entry: illustrator and author Graham Roumieu, who writes excellent books about squirrels, Bigfoot and 101 Ways to Kill Your Boss. We also think his handwriting would make a smashing hand-drawn font.
Says Brian about his entry: ‘Here’s a friend of mine’s site: Graham Roumieu (roo-mew). You have probably seen his Bigfoot books, which are pure genius. Beyond the references to squirrels and Bigfoot, there is something so inherently Canadian about his humour.’
