Fuel isn’t the only thing making cars go lately. Now they’re running off the power of social media. Working with Euro RSCG Amsterdam and Stockholm-based creative studio Perfect Fools, car brand Citroen has created the world’s first Twitter race. A tool developed by the two shops will aggregate tweets in real time and, through live streaming, navigate a new Citroen DS5 on a one-day (Nov. 17) tweet-led tour around the Netherlands. By directing the car, Twitter users have the chance to win one of their own. A live videostream from inside the car will be broadcast online for those who want to follow along. Given the nature of Twiiter, and the amount of tweeting that happens on a regular basis, this stands to be the most confusing race in history.
