Taxi jacket wins Gold Cube
For those of you who have been putting off your pro-bono projects.

Toronto-based agency Taxi has been awarded the Corbis Creativity for Social Justice Award for its 15 Below jacket. It’s the first time a Canadian creative has won an ADC Gold Cube, which “honours the best work created by professionals and students on behalf of non-profits on a pro-bono basis.” The coat, the brainchild of Taxi ECD Steve Mykolyn and designed by Lida Baday, is a compact windbreaker with pockets that can be stuffed with newspaper to increase its warmth in cold weather. It’s particularly useful when sleeping outside. As part of the award, Corbis will donate $20,000 to the project. The project also won a One Show Silver Pencil.
