As part of our on-going log of the increasing utility and ubiquity of augmented reality technology (AR), we thought we’d show you this neat execution. Thanks to Culver City, California-based Zugura, you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home to go clothes shopping anymore. The agency developed an app called Fashionista that uses augmented reality and motion capture technology to allow people to set up their own virtual dressing room in front of their webcam. Tobi.com is one example of an online retailer that’s implemented the application on their site. Check out this video to see how it works.
