Xbox's Kinect gets people moving in Munich.

To promote the launch of Kinect in Germany, Xbox thought it would demonstrate it for a large crowd of people using Munich’s Stachus gate. They enlisted London-based Seeper to produce an interactive art installation, which was projected onto the gate. Featuring an appearance by German celeb Sylvie van der Vaart, people gathered in Munich’s Karlsplatz  acted as human controllers – that’s the gimmick behind the Kinect if you haven’t heard – manipulating the projection using their body movements. It’s certainly one way to get people to jump into a new gaming platform. Pun intended. Check out the video here.
